RECEPTION 2026

If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 or your child has agreement to delay entry to primary education until September 2026 you need to apply for a new reception school place to your home local authority.  

We would love for you to choose Cotham Gardens as your choice for your child's first year at school, and we're confident that our brilliant teachers and facilities would make this the right choice!

Cotham Gardens Primary School is an academy and we follow the Bristol City Council admissions policy.

All applications should be made via Bristol City Council Admissions by 15th January 2026.

Applications received after 15th January 2026 will be processed by Bristol City Council after the initial round of allocations is complete on 16th April 2026.
