Dear Families of Cotham Gardens,

Thanks to the wonderful efforts of our peerless PTAF and our world-champion librarian Karen George, I am delighted to announce this year's Sponsored Read. This is a fantastic event which not only promotes the joys of reading but also raises invaluable funds for the school. This year's edition will celebrate reading in its many beautiful forms, from novels to comics, from recipe books to football reviews, from poems to crossword clues, from blurbs to cereal boxes - anything goes! The goal is simply to read on 15 different occasions between Monday 10th February and Thursday 6h March (aka World Book Day). Please see the challenge sheet for some ideas for suitable reading activities.

Your child(ren) will be coming home today or on Monday with a ticksheet for them to record their reading journeys. Once complete they should share these with their teachers.
