Safeguarding
Cotham Gardens Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The health, safety and well-being of every child are our paramount concern. We listen to our pupils and take seriously what they tell us. Our aim is that children will enjoy their time as pupils at this school. Please talk to Ms Emmeline Smith, Headteacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead or Mr Seth Insall, Deputy Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead, for further information. Deputy Headteacher Lucy Welsford, Learning Mentor Sophie Dunne and Early Years Lead Louise King are also Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Our school has a culture which promotes healthy relationships, respect between pupils and respect for diversity, gender and sexuality equality. We want to protect and nurture this distinctive ethos. And, as part of this, we want to play our part in tackling domestic and sexual violence in Bristol. Being at home shouldn't mean being at risk. Click here for help.
