Home learning in Year 4 consists of reading, spellings, maths and topic. Check out the ClassDojo for all the weeks home learning. If you have any issues accessing this please let one of us know. 

Children should aim to read at home for at least 10 minutes every day (please record this in your child's reading record).  It is important that what your child is reading is discussed so that they have a better understanding of the text.

We are always encouraging children to read frequently at home with an adult for an inter-class competition to see which class can read the most and receive the most dojo points. Please help us by signing your child's reading record every time they read with you at home and ensuring the reading record returns to school every Friday.

Spellings will be sent home every Friday to be tested in class the following Friday. Spellings will also be uploaded to every child's Class Dojo portfolio, so they can be accessed from home.
