Computers and the internet are fantastic for learning and for having fun. Just as children need to learn how to be safe in the real world, they need to know how to be safe on the internet too. Below you will find some great links about how to be safe online.
Whisper- Anonymous Reporting
Now more than ever we want to support every child and family feel safe and secure. Over the years we, like a lot of schools, have been provided with excellent advice and support with e-safety issues by the South West Grid For Learning. We are now introducing their anonymous reporting tool Whisper. If any member of the school community has a concern or worry about anything they can click on the logo to make an anonymous report using a secure link or via SMS while keeping their e-mail address or mobile phone number concealed. Whisper can also enable a continuing two way text conversation, again without revealing contact details. The report will go to the school’s safeguarding team who will do their best to help. We will endeavour to respond to all reports within 48 hours.
